2014 Keynote Speakers
The keynote speakers for the 2014 conference were Dr. Steven J. Cooke and Dr. A. Richard Palmer.
Dr. Steven J. Cooke is a Canada Research Chair and Associate Professor at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario. Dr. Cooke’s research group is involved in defining the new discipline of conservation physiology, which is a field dedicated to understanding the mechanisms underlying conservation problems.
Dr. A. Richard Palmer is an internationally recognized professor here at the U of A who studies the intriguing way new phenotypes evolve through developmental plasticity, where the same genotype yields different forms in different environments
